Gospel Messengers began performing in 2006. The formation of this father and sons trio was inspired by a love for The Lord Jesus Christ and a desire to lift up His name through the tremendous and unique art form that is Southern Gospel Music.
Bart, Dennis, Daniel, and sound technician/manager Gwen are dedicated to achieving an ever-increasing level of musical excellence and spiritual devotion. Throughout our twelve years of ministry we have presented the gospel in a style reminiscent of the great performers of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. We will always remain dedicated to perpetuating vintage "roots" gospel in its purest form.
During the spring of 2018 we were blessed to return to Brian Speer's Dog House Studio in Nashville, Tennessee and record our 5th album entitled “More Than You'll Ever Know”. This is the album we have always wanted to make and the exquisite results are the culmination of a lifetime of learning. We were thrilled to delve into the archives and bring back some of the greatest music of yesteryear with fresh arrangements and inspired vocals which arose from a 10-month selection/arranging/rehearsal period. “More Than You'll Ever Know” is much like a Gospel Messengers’ live performance, with polished vocals, superlative playing, excellent arrangements, inspiring lyrics, and a firm sense of uninhibited Christian joy is certainly on display throughout.
Gospel Messengers look forward to each opportunity to reconnect with established friends at churches where we've previously ministered and to make new friends with those in The Body of Christ we've yet to meet! Our commitment to breathing new life into the tradition of yesteryear with ever increasing musical excellence is prominent in our hearts and minds. However, seeing hearts touched, believers encouraged, and lost souls come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of paramount importance to us!
